Creative writing workshops focusing on dramatic text, journeying participants through exercises that bring writing into movement. We will observe, play and write. Looking at the concrete, dramaturgy, physical action, language and writing from the body. Inspired by Ecole Jacques Lecoq, Coleen will lead the workshop with the goal of inspiring writers, theatre makers and creative types to capture the world in writing. Coleen has led workshops at The Theatre Centre and The University of Toronto.

Artist in the Schools and Community Workshops in Ontario

For over four years Coleen has been delivering workshops to Ontario schools on playwriting, devised theatre creation and taking poetry into performance. Recently she has been teaching Drama in London, UK at Haringey Shed and teaching the LAMDA curriculum to students privately. Poetry in Movement

An introduction to the devising method of theatre creation. Students will explore poetry through movement and create a performance inspired by a modern poem. This workshop is available in Canada and the UK.
